Kathryn W. Stinson, age 89, of Wooster, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday morning, March 13th, 2010 at Wooster Community Hospital following a period of declining health.
Services will be Thursday, 2:00 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, 2284 Benden Dr., Wooster with Rev. Robert Meyer officiating followed by interment at Dalton Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour (1:00-2:00) prior to services at the funeral home.

She was born on February 7, 1921 in Wooster to R. "Floyd" and Edna (Grady) Wallace and has been a Wooster resident for all of her life.
She married Lee H. Stinson on October 10, 1947. He went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2000.
She was a graduate of both the Wayne Twp.(No. 2)School and then from Smithville High School. She then graduated from the Wooster Business College and then worked as a Secretary for 10 years with the former Buckeye Aluminum Co. in Wooster.
She then devoted her time to raising their 5 children.
She was a member of Wayne Presbyterian Church where she and her husband served in many capacities including the food ministry for many years; volunteered for People to People Ministries; member of Union Grange and served at the Grange Building at the Wayne County Fair for many years; a member of Wayne Twp. House Keepers Club; member of DAR; volunteered for both the American Red Cross and for many years at the county Voting Precincts handing out ballots and other responsibilities. In addition to being a good friend and neighbor, she most importantly enjoyed spending time with her family and especially grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kathi (Carl) Weaver of Wooster, Fred (Connie) Stinson of Orrville, Margaret (Eric) Dennis of PA., Sandra E. Sheets of Orrville and Robert A. Stinson of Wooster; Grandchildren, Lori (J.C.) Stofer, Ryan Ristoff, Scott Dennis, Andrew Dennis, Malinda Stinson, Alex Stinson and a great-grandson, Samuel James Stofer; brother, Carey Wallace of Millersburg and a sister, Jeanette Kerr of Illinois; her special cousin, Myrna Norton of Wooster and her faithful canine companion, "Sophie".
In addition to her parents, and beloved husband, she is preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wallace.
