Obituary for Lexi Lykins

Lexi crossed the rainbow bridge Sat April 18, 2020 @ 10:02pm surrounded with her family that loved her.
She taught me unconditional love and loyalty.
Lexi never met a stranger, she loved people she loved everyone in the family.
Lexi came into my life July 10, 2010, we rescued her, but little did we know she would be the one to rescue us. Her demeanor and temperament was always love and kindness.
She loved children and grew to know and love 7 and was always with them.
She knew when the bus came to drop the kids off and would wait and watch with a wagging tail as they walked in. She loved outside and would play for hours and run and jump in the creek for a swim.
There are so many memories of her.. 10 years worth, but my favorite is coming home from work and to be greeted with happiness and a wagging tail and tapping paws.
She is deeply missed and home just isn't the same with out her.
Lexi passed away with all of us by her side telling her how loved she is and what a good girl she is until her last breath. To know we were there to comfort her in her final moments and she was surrounded with love brings some comfort.
I will miss her for all the rest of my days.
If love kept you alive, dogs would live forever.
